We were delighted to receive the Breakfast Award from the English Tourist Board (sponsored by Kellogs) for producing breakfast's over and above the standard expected for an ETC 4 star establishment. The award is for the high quality of food, service and ambient in our breakfast restaurant. We are also a shortlisted finalist in the Hotel Excellence Awards 2010 in the category of 'Excellence in Business Management'.

![2]() | During fine weather our recently built Alfresco dining area (Pergola) will be complemented by our new decking, patio area and lawn - all of which provide further areas to enjoy either a drink or a meal.
The additional bedrooms brings our total to 9, all with en-suite bathrooms, handmade pine furniture and luxury King Size beds - which can be 'twinned' at your request. You can expect the same level of comfort in every room. If you have a preference for a particular room, please mention this when making your reservation.

On Monday 4th January we commenced the refurbishment of the conservatory restaurant. We aim to give the conservatory the same light, airy feel as we have in our new garden restaurant. We will also be replacing the carpets in the bar and upper snug areas together with a new slate flooring to the ladies and gents wc's. Yet another set of improvements to enjoy on your next visit.

To relieve the congestion in the car park during busy times we have made an application to extend our car park to provide a staff and overflow car parking area. We hope that this action will make your future visits even more pleasurable.

 | Dining Club News
Membership has now nearly reached 100! We hosted a very pleasant Dining Club members evening in November which was well attended by members and their guests. Head Chef Richard Briscoe put on an excellent dinner which was complemented by wine tasting by Andrew Brooks of Berkmann Wine cellars. Look out for the next event. Our New Years Eve draw awarded Mr. J. Goodliffe from Stamford with a free night B&B for 2 persons. Congratulations to our lucky winner! |

 | Bird Watching
Even with the beautiful covering of Wintery snow, North Norfolk Bird watching continues to be popular. Great walks on crisp mornings returning to our open fires, Brancaster Mussels and comfortable bedrooms. |

To assist the fund raising activities of the Sedgeford Church committee The King William will be hosting a curry night in late February, early March. Date to be confirmed. A great event not to be missed.
